Hillel Day School
of Metropolitan
Detroit in
Farmington Hills.
Her interests
include attending
summer camp at
Camp Ramah in Canada, music, books,
water skiing and snow skiing. Mindy
enjoys expressing her creativity through
many forms of dance, including jazz,
hip-hop and ballet. Her mitzvah proj-
ects have included volunteering with the
Jewish Family Service in Southfield.

Zachary Ryan Wolf will celebrate his
bar mitzvah at Temple Israel Friday,
Feb. 8. He is the son of Michelle and
Bryan Wolf and
brother of Marissa,
Breanna and
Brandon. He is the
grandchild of
Lillian and David
Brevoort and the
late Elaine and Sy
Wolf

time on the com-
puter, likes in-line
skating, cooking and watching movies
when he is not attending Sarah Banks
Middle School in Walled Lake.
Working with senior citizens was his
most rewarding mitzvah project.

Henry Samuel Kaplan of Yorba Linda,
Calif, will be called to the Torah as a
bar mitzvah at Temple Beth Shalom in
Santa Ana, Calif,
Saturday, Feb. 9.
He is the son of
Dr. Daniel and
Gayle Kaplan and
brother of Scott.
Proud grandpar-
ents are Mae
Hosaka of Yorba
Linda and Edith
and Jack Kaplan of
West Bloomfield.
Henry is also the grandson of the late
Henry Hosaka.
Henry is an honor student at
Oakridge Private School in Villa Park.
He enjoys computers, tennis and weight
lifting. For his mitzvah project, he is
coordinating a collection drive for pre-
scription glasses for those in need.
