Daniel Jacob Sillman will celebrate his
bar mitzvah on Friday, Jan. 18, at
Temple Israel. He is the son of Susie and
David Sillman and
brother of Laura.
Excited grandpar-
ents are Ruth and
Lou Stober and
Maurine Sillman.
He is also the grand-
son of the late Herb
Sillman.
Basketball, wake-
boarding, baseball,
tennis golf and skiing as well as playing
the guitar are the activities enjoyed by
Daniel, who attends Derby Middle
School in Birmingham, where he is an
honor student. His most meaningful
mitzvah project was volunteering at Yad
Ezra in Oak Park.
