NBC. Azaria won an Emmy for his
role as Mitch Albom in Tuesdays With
Morrie and recently starred in Uprising
as a Warsaw. Ghetto freedom fighter.

Ken Burn's documentary Mark
Twain paints a portrait of the man
born Samuel Langhorne Clemens. It
airs 8-10 p.m. Monday and Tuesday,
Jan. 14-15, on Detroit Public
Television-Channel 56. Twain's daugh-
ter Clara was married to the Detroit
Symphony Orchestra's Jewish musical
director, Ossip Gabrilowitsch, who led
the orchestra to greatness from 1919
until his death in 1936. Twain was a
frequent guest in their Boston

version of playwright Donald
Margulies' Collected Stories, the tale
of a tumultuous friendship between
Professor Ruth Steiner (Linda Lavin),
