Iff argie and Bob Mellen
and Jackie and Ron
Michaelson, all of West
Bloomfield, are thrilled
to announce the engagement of their
children Melissa Gayle Mellen and
Jeremy Heath Michaelson.
Melissa earned her bachelor of sci-
ence degree from Indiana University
in Bloomington and is completing her
master's degree in curriculum instruc-
tion and leadership. She is a third-
grade teacher at Lone Pine
Elementary School in Bloomfield
Hills.
Jeremy earned his bachelor of arts
degree from the University of
Rochester in Rochester, N.Y., and his
doctor of dental medicine from
Boston University School of
Medicine. He is in a general practice
residency at the Veterans
Administration Hospital in Detroit
and will begin a residency in
endodontics this July.
A June wedding is planned at
Temple Israel.

r. Emily Shwedel and Mr.
Greg Weitzman were
recently married at
Temple Beth El. Rabbi
David Castiglione of Temple Beth El
and Cantor Lori Corrsin of Temple
Israel officiated.
Emily is the daughter of Paul and
Adrienne Shwedel of Walled Lake.
Greg is the son of Cary and Becky
Weitzman of West Bloomfield.
Alysa Hantgan, sister of the bride,
was matron of honor. Bridesmaids
were Hayley Warren, Tracy Weitzman,
Carrie Krauthamer, Andrea Wolff,
Nikki Kaczander, Jackie Wander and
Lisa Kaufman.
The best man was Allan Weitzman,
brother of the groom. The grooms-
men were Brad Warren, Craig
Hantgan, Adam Goodman, Marc
Cohen, Roy Krauthamer, Drew
Millman, Eric Samson, Alex
Khenyson, Brandon Sandler, Brian
Englehardt, Bryan Clinton and Jason
Clinton.

Jerold Alan Weckstein were
recently married at the
Dearborn Inn in Dearborn.
Rabbi Judy Chessin from Temple Beth
Or in Dayton, Ohio, officiated.
Caryn is the daughter of Betty and
Heitman Sherline of Southfield; Jerry is
the son of Caryl and Don Weckstein of
Dayton.
Sharon Berke, sister of the bride, was
the matron of honor. Bridesmaids
included Dana Rochlen, Linda Stern,
Dena Raminick, Tracy Raben, Debbie
Frank, Julie Moleski and Stephanie
Berke.
Dan Weckstein, brother of the
groom, was the best man. Groomsmen
included Dave Mazza, Jeremy Black,
Eric Peterson, Steve Carlin, Larry Frank
and Marc Berke.
The bridal party also included
nephews Cameron Berke and Alexander
Frank as the ring bearers and chuppah
holders Tova and Rick Sherline and
Michelle and Marty Lubetsky.
The happy couple reside in Berkley.

studies and Lisa graduated with a
bachelor of science degree in advertis-

Dan is employed as a sales executive
at Kerry Steel Inc. and Lisa is an
advertising account executive at
WXYZ-TV, Channel 7.
