Jordan Ross Milan will be called to the
Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday, Jan.
12, at Havdathh services at Temple Israel.
He is the son of Jill and Dr. Mitchell
Milan and brother of Evan. Proud grand-
parents are Patricia Klein and Stanley
Klein, Rhoda and
Sol Milan.

An honor student
at-Derby Middle
School in
Birmingham, Jordan
plays basketball,
football and baseball.
He also enjoys water
and snow skiing and
playing electric gui-
tar. Packing food at Gleaners Food Bank
in Detroit was one of his most meaning-
ful mitzvah projects.

Zara Mogilevsky will be called to the
Torah as a bat mitzvah on Saturday, Jan.
12, at Adat Shalom Synagogue. She is
the daughter of Bella Yagolkovskaya and
Boris Mogilevsky and sister of Ethel.
Happy grandparents are Aleta and Anton
Yag,olkovsky and
Rebecca and Gamliel
Mogilevsky.
An honor student
at Warner Middle
School in
Farmington Hills,
Zara enjoys playing
the violin in school.
She also likes
singing, dancing and performing on
stage. Zara also enjoys computers,
movies, music and spending time with
her friends. Her many mitzvah projects
included volunteering at Yad Ezra in Oak
Park and donating money to the Make-
A-Wish Foundation.

Jason Michael Weiner will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Jan. 12, at Adat Shalom Synagogue. He
is the son of Sheri and Yale Weiner and
brother of Megan. Sharing in the sim-
chah will be proud grandparents Bernice
and Samuel Markel
and Marcia and
Lester Weiner.
Jason is an honor
student at Abbott
Middle School in
West Bloomfield. He
enjoys Nintendo, the
computer, watching
wrestling and play-
ing the French horn. As part of his mitz-
vah project, he volunteered at the Adat
Shalom camp this past summer.
