Dr. Suzanne Merkle and Dr. Alan
Silverman of West Bloomfield are thrilled

Jenna Nicole Silverman (Aliza Nurit).
Jenna was welcomed home by her big sis-
ter Brittany Rose, 5, and big brother
Bradley Samuel, 3. Also sharing in their

Delia and David Gealer are happy and
proud to welcome their baby daughter,
Elizabeth Rose, named for her great--
grandmother Bess Gonte and her great-
aunt Rose. Big sister Rachel and big
brother Matthew are thrilled. The excited
grandparents are Yale Gealer, Joan and
Bernie Rappaport and Lucile Radick.
Elizabeth is also the granddaughter of the
late Charles Radick.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Dec. 5
Felicia (Wayne) and Fredric Neumann of
Bloomfield Hills welcome with much
love their beautiful new daughter, Jade
Olivia. She was welcomed home by
proud big brothers Miles Ross and Cole
Alexander. Thrilled grandparents are
Johanna and Jack Wayne of West
Bloomfield and Brenda and LeRoy
Neumann of Farmington Hills. Jade
Olivia was named in loving memory of
her great-grandfather Ira Mandelstamm
and her great-grandmother Olga Fried.

Brandon Scott Borovoy will be called to
the Torah as a bar mitzvah on Saturday,
Jan. 12, at Congregation B'nai Moshe.
He is the son of Michele and Marc
Borovoy and brother of Danielle.
Honored grandparents are Joyce and
Matthew Borovoy, Marilynn and
Maynard Flusty.
Brandon is a seventh-grade honor stu-
dent at Hillel Day School of
Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills.
He enjoys playing
soccer and basketball,
skiing, spending
summers at Camp
Tamakwa in Canada
and spending time
with friends.
Brandon will be
tutoring b'nai mitz-
vah students under the supervision of
Cantor Earl Berris and he looks forward
to participating in the JARC program
with his seventh-grade class.

Dec. 4
Eric and Michelle (Potocsky) Mintz of
Sylvan Lake joyfully announce the birth
of their beautiful son, Isaac Henry.
Sharing in the joy are grandma and
grandpa Gail and Sidney Mintz and bub-
bie and zayde Myra and Dennis Potocsky,

Emily Rose Eckhous, the daughter of Iris
and Jeremy Eckhous and sister of
Andrew, will celebrate her bat mitzvah on
Saturday, Jan. 12, at Temple Israel.
Joining in the celebration will be proud
grandmothers Jacquelin Eckhous and
Thelma Schurgin. Emily is also the
grandchild of the late Arthur Eckhous
and the late David Schurgin.
