LOUIS GLASSMAN, 83, of Walled

Lake, died Dec. 22.
He is survived by his beloved
wife, Lillian Glassman; sons and

Englewood, Colo.; daughter, Carol
A. Glassman of Corvallis, Ore.; sis-
ters, Yetta Pernikoff of Southfield,
Marlene Beresh; grandchildren,
Jesse, Michael and Ashley
Glassman.

RUTH STAMELL GREEN, 84, of

Southfield, died Dec. 23.
She is survived by her son and
daughter-in-law, Jan and Joyce
Green of Bloomfield Hills; daughter
and son-in-law, Donna and Ronald
Bookholder of Troy; brother and
sister-in-law, Dr. Meyer and Rose
Stamell; grandchildren, James (Dr.
Charlene Black) Green, Jennifer
Green, Jessica Green, Jill (Jonathan)
Bloom, Mark Bookholder; great-
grandson, Joseph Green. She was
the beloved wife of the late Ben
Green; daughter of the late Jacob
and Sadie Stamell; sister of the late
Dr. Benjamin (Jenny) Stamell.
Private family services were held at
Beth El Memorial Park Cemetery.

3600 W. Auburn Rd., Rochester
Hills, MI 48309 or to the J.P.

KUNE GREENBAUM, 90, formerly

of Southfield of Plantation, Fla., died
Dec. 12. He was also a resident of Tel
Aviv, Vienna and Dynov, Poland. Mr.
Greenbaum traveled to Palestine in
early 1935 as a pall bearer for Hebrew
poet Chaim Nachum Bialik. He was
also a member of the Haganah, fore-
man for the Elite candy factory in Tel
Aviv.
When he moved to Detroit in
1951, he established Supreme
Home Furnishings in the Schaefer-
McNichols area. He was also active
in a number of Jewish and Zionist
organizations; he served as president
of the Workmen's Circle branch 227
for 25 years.
Mr. Greenbaum is survived by
his wife of 65 years, Ada
Greenbaum; daughter, Ilana Tauber
of Los Angeles; son and daughter-
in-law, Eli and Beth Greenbaum of
Birmingham; grandchildren, Sylvan
and Cathy Tauber of Simi Valley,
Calif., Adam and Edris Tauber of
Sacramento, Calif., Sari and Rachel
Aviv of Manhattan; great-grandchil-
dren, Amelia and Clair Tauber.
Interment as Star of David
Cemetery in North Lauderdale.
Contributions may be made to a
charity of one's choice.
