AS A CUB SCOUT here, Roy
Sheinwald didn't know that when his
mother, Adrienne Sheinwald, made a
cake for him and Roy decorated the
clown pastry ... it was to be his begin-
ning as a coming super chef ... Roy
ornamented the clown cake to take
first prize for the best decorated cake.
As he grew up, Roy loved to cook
with grandmother, Natalie Victor ...
and now living in Plantation, Fla., the
20-year-old former localite recently
graduated from the Culinary Institute
of America in Hyde Park, N.Y. ... with
plans to return to the institute in
February for his bachelor's degree.
WHEN HENRY and Marty
Spector celebrated their 50th anniver-
sary 10 years ago, Elaine and Phil
Beneson and Audrey and Harvey
Kahn surprised them ... picking the
couple up in a limo and taking them
to the Golden Mushroom for drinks
and then to the Whitney for dinner.
Ten years later, the Kahns and
Benesons recently helped celebrate the
Spector's 60th anniversary with a limo
...to dinner at the Whitney and drinks
and music at Excalibur.
