Beginning Jan. 16, spiritual teachers
Karen and Sid Greenberg will present a
year-long experience in applied
Kabbalah at Temple Beth El.
Classes will be held one night each
month for 3 V2 hours for 12 months,
with the last "experience" requiring a
three-day commitment.
Karen Greenberg is a physical thera-
pist and former assistant chief of the
physical therapy department and clinical
supervisor of students at University of
Maryland Hospital.
Sid Greenberg has been a practicing
clinical psychotherapist for 10 years,
treating individuals, couples and fami-
lies.
The Greenbergs' course combines the
universal principles of Kabbalah with
her healing work, "Fully Integrated
Healing." Participants are helped to
understand the principles and apply
them in their daily lives, learning to
make life work, feel worthy and deserv-
ing and apply them to their daily lives.
Classes will meet 7-10:30 p.m.
Wednesdays at the temple. Fee is $137

Elan Village
Marks Chanukah

Residents of Elan Village, an assisted liv-
ing facility in Southfield, enjoyed a wide
variety of programs during the eight
days of Chanukah. Every night, differ-
ent members joined residents for candle-
lighting and songs.
The programs included Cantor

Beth Shalom as well as students from
the Yeshivat Akiva, Bais Chaya Mushka

Jozef Presents
Healing Program

Temple Beth El will present Jozef in his
celebration of life 12:30 p.m. Sunday,
Jan. 6.
At an early age, Jozef
realized he had the gift
to facilitate the healing
of others. A near-death
experience at age 27
accelerated and expand-
ed his healing capabili-
ties. He developed the
ability to energetically
repair, realign and
Jozef
restructure the "whole
being" so individuals fully advance on
their personal spiritual paths and fulfill
their highest purpose. Jozef is the
founder of Sierra Dove, an organization
devoted to promoting soul growth and
alleviating human suffering.
In a three-hour session, Jozef will use
focused and experiential prayer, medita-
tion and visualization to help individu-
als. Cost of the program is $95. Pre-reg-
istration and prepayment are required.

School Choir.
Residents were invited to a
Chanukah party at the Congregation
Shaarey Zedek Beth Hayeled pre-school.
The highlight to the week featured
administrative staff cooking potato
latkes for residents and staff.
