as a bar mitzvah
on Saturday,
Dec. 8, at
Congregation
B'nai Moshe. He
is the son of
Ellen Kotler and
Donald Rubin
and brother of
Penina. Proud
grandparents are
Elsie Kotler, May Blechman and
Harold Rubin, Sylvia Rubin and
Nate Berlin. Josh is also the grand-
son of the late Sidney Kotler.

r. and Mrs. Daniel Stettner
of Huntington Woods and
Mr. and Mrs. Steven Cohen
of West Bloomfield are
delighted to announce the engagement
of their children Elyse and Robert, who
met at Camp Maas in Ortonville as staff
members.
Elyse and Robert attended the
University of Michigan. Elyse graduated
with a bachelor of arts degree and pur-
sued a career as a pharmaceutical sales
representative. She is employed with
Ortho McNeil Pharmaceuticals.
Robert graduated with a bachelor of
science degree and is completing his
fourth year of medical school at Wayne
State University. He will pursue a career
in emergency medicine.
A June wedding is planned at the Bay
Pointe Golf Club in West Bloomfield.

Josh is an eighth-grade honor stu-
dent at Abbott Middle School in
West Bloomfield. His interests
include clarinet, science (national
award winner), Boy Scouts, skiing,
golf, swimming, camping and robot-
ics. Mitzvah projects include volun-
teering with the synagogue Bikur
Holim committee, Yad Ezra in Oak
Park, preparing food for the home-
less and makini, Meals-on-Wheels
deliveries.
