L

isa Ann DaDan and
Lawrence Bennett Acker
were married recently in a
ceremony in the park in
Huntington Woods. Fr. Robert Wurm
and Rabbi Adam Chalom of the
Birmingham Temple officiated.
Parents of the bride are Gino and
Caryl DaDan of St. Joseph. Parents of
the groom are Ed and Marilyn Acker
of Huntington Woods.
Mary Caryl (DaDan) McEvoy was
matron of honor. Bridesmaids were
Gina DaDan, Jami (DaDan)
Harrington, ManDee Adams,
MaryAnn Bernier and Carolyn
McEvoy. Ella DaDan and Eliza
Stepien were flower girls.
Evan Acker was best man.
Groomsmen were Steve Acker, Jerry
Acker, Jared Acker, Jordan Acker, Jack
DaDan, Joe DaDan and Matthew
McLain.
The couple reside in Huntington
Woods. The bride is a graduate of
Lake Michigan Catholic High School
and Michigan State University. She is

employed by Budco in Highland Park.
The groom is a graduate of Berkley
High School and Wayne State
University. He is employed as North
American media relations and adver-
tising manager for Automotive World

Magazine.

achel Feldstein and Gary
Axelrod were recently mar-
ried at Temple Israel.
Rabbi Paul Yedwab and
the Birmingham Temple's Rabbi
Tamara Kolton, the bride's cousin,
officiated. Rachel is the daughter of
Susan Feldstein of Bloomfield Hills
and Richard and Theresa Feldstein of
West Bloomfield. Gary is the son of
Irwin and Elaine Axelrod of Morton
Grove, Ill.
Emily Feldstein, the bride's sister,
was the maid of honor. The brides-
maids were the groom's sisters, Karen
Grad and Carol Nadler, and lifelong
friends Jacqui Chazen, Marni Lustig,
Jill Silverman and Stacey Wittenberg.
Jeff Michael was the best man. The
groomsmen were David Feldstein, the
bride's brother; Steve Grad and
Michael Nadler, the groom's brothers-
in-law; and longtime friend Shawn
Marks. The bride and groom were
honored to have Gary's grandmother
Beatrice Zislis participate in the cere-
mony.

BARELA-GOLDMAN

amie Suzanne Nelson and
Richard Bryan Stone were
married recently at the Drake
Hotel in Chicago. Rabbi
Irving P. Glickman officiated.
Jamie is the daughter of Audrey
Nelson of Northbrook, Ill. Richard is
the son of Kenneth and Helen Stone
of Bloomfield Hills.
The matron of honor was Dr. Stacy
Weiss, sister of the bride. The brides-
maids were Amy Jeross, Allison Stone,
sister of the groom, and Jamie Stover.
Jon Stone, cousin of the groom and
close friend, was the best man. The
groomsmen were Jason Blumberg;
Kyle Stone, cousin of the groom; and
Adam Weiss, brother-in-law of the
bride.
Jamie and Rick were delighted to
have the groom's ,grandmother
Rosalyn Stone participate in the cere-
mony. Following a honeymoon in
Italy, the couple returned to reside in
Chicago.

Barela were recently married
at the Pinnacle Club in
Denver, Colo. Steve is the
son of Alan and Edie Goldman of
Farmington Hills. Cindy is the daugh-
ter of Jim and Arlene Barela of
Lakewood, Colo.
Chrissie Eldridge and Cathy Barela,
sisters of the bride, were matron and
maid of honor, respectively.
Bridesmaids were Laurie Keenan, sis-
ter of the groom; Julie Yaker, Dana
and Karen Kushkin, cousins of the
groom; and Kathi Dorram, Tara
Gilmore, Nina Groom, Julie Swatosch
and Dani Tennant, friends of the
bride.
The groom's brothers, Jeff and Marc
Goldman, were the best men.
Groomsmen were Jim Barela, brother
of the bride, Craig Aronoff, Mike
Brenner, Nick George, Randy LaBelle,
Rick Linnell, Matt Lockwood, Brad
Loughran, Howard Potocsky, Jeff
Rosenblum and Dave Williams.

cell phone. Also, Steve was thrilled to
walk down the aisle to the taped viola
music played by his grandmother.

Steve and Cindy reside in Denver.
