LORRAINE WEINER, formerly of West Bloomfield of Delray beach, Fla., died Dec. 14. She volunteered her time to many causes, among them the Scleroderma Foundation in Michigan and Florida; she served on the Michigan board for many years. Mrs. Weiner was an active participant in an experimental study at the pulmonary hypertension program at Chicago's Rush Presbyterian Hospital. She was also a member of Hadassah and a past president of Congregation B'nai David Sisterhood. Mrs. Weiner had been given a special award by the State of Israel for her assistance in its time of need.
