Meet The Artists
The Jewish News Chanukah Art Contest artists and the community are
invited to an opening reception and exhibit of the winning entries and some
of the other 440 entries 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at Park Wesr Gallery on
Northwestern Highway in Southfield.
The four contest winners will be awarded their prizes, courtesy of Target
Stores, and refreshments will be served.

News Chanukah Art Contest.
And her 8-year-old sister,
Leah, was our grand-prize
winner. This year, the 10-
year-old Rivka Ayelet, a stu-
dent at Yeshiva Beth
Yehudah's Beth Jacob School
for Girls, drew her back-
ground several times before
being satisfied and adding her
Chanukah menorah to her
winning artwork.
All of the 24 winners in
these pages, plus some of the
other 416 entries, are on dis-
play Dec. 9-16 at Park West
Gallen- on Northwestern
Highway in Southfield.
Artists wishing to pick up
their entries can doso after
the holiday at the Jewish News
offices until Jan. 1.
