Rachel Stewart attend Orchard Lake
Middle School in West
Bloomfield, where they are on the
honor roll.
Joshua enjoys soccer, basketball, TV
and the computer. He found it very
meaningful to volunteer at Yad Ezra in
Oak Park as part of his mitzvah proj-
ects.
Rachel's interests include dance,
playing the piano and TV. Her most
significant mitzvah project was helping
to build a sukkah at a Jewish
Association for Residential Care home.

their daughter Lisa Renee to
Jonathan David, son of Larry
and Pepi Rubin of Wilmette,

Upon completing their bach-
elor of arts degrees from the
University of Wisconsin-
Madison, Lisa and J.D. traveled
through Europe before contin-
uing their educations. Lisa
earned her master of arts in
teachinc, from Boston
University and teaches Spanish
at Maine West High School in
Des Plaines, Ill. J.D. is a sec-
ond-year law student at
Northwestern University in Evanston.
An August wedding is planned at
the Links of Pinewood.

Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Rachel Esther
Schultz celebrated
her bat mitzvah on
Nov. 24 at B'nai
David-Judea
Congregation in Los
Angeles. She is the
daughter of David
and Debbie Schultz
and sister of Aaron, Batya and Sammy
Schultz. Proud grandparents are
Sander and Barbara Papo of West
Bloomfield and Hadassah Schultz of
Brooklyn. Honored great-grandmother
is Mary Papo of Oak Park.
Rachel attends seventh grade at
Harkham Hillel Hebrew Academy in
Beverly Hills, Calif. She enjoys playing
baseball, going on AOL, and spending
summers at Camp Moshava in Wild
Rose, Wis. She had a silent auction at
her bat mitzvah to raise money for vic-
tims of the tragedy on Sept. 11.
