Adrian I sensed an electric-like current
as he manipulated the sacred stones,
alternately warming them and coating
them with oils.
He smiled and told me an unusual
phenomenon took place during my
massage. He said when he lifted a
stone from one of my chakras, he
actually saw sparks fly. "I've been prac-
ticing stone therapy for several years,"
he said, "and I've never seen that hap-
pen."
Needless to say, I emerged from the
massage room feeling both energized
and pleasantly tranquil. If there's such
a thing as energy transference, I think
I experienced it in that brief session.
Miami's The Spa at Doral offers sev-
eral new, innovative services this win-
ter. Their Dry Pedicure is a deeply
exfoliating treatment using Gehwol
waterless equipment, the latest
European technology. Electric pumice
. stones attached to a high-speed drill
are applied to the feet in rotary
motions to reduce tough corns and
calluses. It also refines dry heels.
The Doral's Timeless Skin Facial
promises to revitalize and stimulate
the skin's cell renewal and visibly
improve wrinkle depth. It incorporates
a unique blend of Retinol for added
firmness. The secret lies in the new
skin care series from Dr. Grandel. His
"Granosome" delivery system allows
Retinol to penetrate through the epi-
dermis. Grandel is a leader in the pro-
duction of natural, high-tech skin care
products for the spa industry.
