Ashmann of Farmington Hills.
The couple met at
Michigan State University,
from which they both graduat-
ed. Lori has dual degrees in
marketing and merchandising
management and is employed
in the marketing department
of Borders Group Inc. in Ann
Arbor. Taal has a degree in
finance and is employed at
Morgan Stanley in Livonia as a
financial adviser and retirement plan-
ning specialist.
A June wedding is planned at the
Townsend Hotel in Birmingham.

The maid of honor was
Joann Honigman, sister of the
bride. The best man was Peter
Dreifus, brother of the groom.
Samantha Dreifus, niece of the
groom, was the flower girl.
Kathy and Jay were hon-
ored to have Dave Honigman,
brother-in-law of the bride, and their
sons, Tom and Ryan Berman and Jeff
Dreifus, carry the chuppah.
