What Is A Chinese Auction?

A Chinese Auction is an inexpensive way to have a fun-filled
evening where you have the chance to take home valuable
prizes for a minimal cash outlay.

How Does A Chinese Auction Work?

At a Chinese Auction you purchase coupons in denominations
of $10, $20, $35, $50 and $100. You then place these coupons
with your name on them, in the box corresponding to your
desired gift. For example, if you would like the chance to
win a laptop computer, you purchase a $75 coupon write
your name on it and place it in box #4.

How Many Coupons Must Be Sold For Any Prize To Be Won?

There is no limit to the number of tickets one may place in any
one box. Therefore, if you want to increase your chances of
winning a prize, you may place more than one ticket in that box.

Akiva Hebrew Day School reserves the right to withdraw
any item or substitute any prior to the evening of
the auction. Restrictions may apply to any and all gifts.
