Mrs. Herman served as a past president of B'nai B'rith Women, was a member of Women's League of Temple Beth Shalom in Las Vegas and City of Hope as well as being a chair Helen Herman of United Synagogue Youth of Congregation Beth Shalom in Oak Park. She and her husband were founding members of Beth Shalom.
