annual fund-raising dinner 5:30 p.m.
Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Young Israel of
Oak Park, honoring Dr. Michael A.
Tainsky.
Dinner chairs are Mrs. Agi Rubin and
Dr. Barbara Kappy. Honorary co-chairs
are Jonathan R. Borenstein, an attorney,
and Dr. Mark Friedland.
Tickets for the dinner are $125 per

Pitt Center Meets
Special Needs
The Sarah and Irving Pitt Child
Development Center, located in the
Jewish Community Center in West
Bloomfield, has become an inclusive
environment.
It seeks to accommodate pre-school
age children with special needs who
would benefit from one-on-one accom-
paniment by an inclusion assistant so
they may participate in the Pitt CDC
pre-school program.
The inclusion program is supported
by the Jewish Fund, the Skillman
Foundation and the Edward and Judith
Narens Endowment for Children with
Special Needs.
Nationally accredited by the National
Association for the Education of Young
Children, the Pitt CDC offers programs
for infants, toddlers, pre-schoolers and
kindergarteners.
