More than $400, 000 was raised by Women's Division State of Israel Bonds at its
Generations Fashion Show II celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Israel Bonds

In celebration of its 75th anniversary,
the Jewish Community Center of
Metropolitan Detroit will take a step
back in time when it joins Northwest
Community Programs Inc./Northwest
Activities Center for a special event on
Sunday, Dec. 2, at the Northwest
Community Center, 18100 Meyers,
Detroit. The center is the former home
of the JCC.
The event, "Come Back to the Old
Neighborhood," will begin at 2 p.m.
and will include an open house, tours
of the buildinc, and refreshments. The
Jeff Haas Trio with guest Marcus
Belgrave will perform at 3 p.m.
Transportation will be provided from
the JCC in West Bloomfield at 1:20
p.m. and from the JCC in Oak Park at
2 p.m.
Admission is free and the public is
invited. The event is made possible by a
grant from the Kaufman Memorial
Trust and the Detroit Jewish Initiative
of the Jewish Community Council of
Metropolitan Detroit.
