hayna Jaclyn Cohen and
Philip Lawrence Klein were
recently married at Temple
Israel. Rabbis Harold Loss
and Joshua Bennett officiated along
with Cantor Harold Orbach.
Shayna is the daughter of Melanie
and Arthur Solomon of Orchard Lake
and Brian and Fran Cohen of
Farmington Hills. Philip is the son of
Wendi and Richard Klein of Lido
Beach, N.Y.
Jessica Cohen, sister of the bride,
was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were
Jennifer Baxt, Stacy Bishop, Jennifer
Solomon, Dina Leuchter, Erica
Seidman, Marisa Schwartzman, Leslie
Schwartz and Nicole LaBret. Nicole
Bishop was junior bridesmaid and
flower girls were Alanna and Alissa
Cohen.
Kristian Neilsen was best man.
Groomsmen were Noah Cohen and
Aaron Solomon, Andrew Berg,
Matthew Ednick, Luiey Haddad,
David Dileo and Mathew Warner.

The couple were honored by the
presence of the grandparents of the
bride Milly and Nat Hocherman,
Elaine Cohen and great-grandmother
Frances Boxman, along with the
groom's grandmother Louise Klein.
Shayna and Philip honeymooned
in Paradise Island, Bahamas, and now
reside in Commerce Township.

egan Jane Friedman and
Stephen Gerald Strain
were married recently at
Morels in Bingham
Farms. Judge Bernard A. Friedman,
father of the bride, and Cantor
Harold Orbach of Temple Israel offici-
ated.
Megan is the daughter of Bernard
and Rozanne Friedman of West
Bloomfield. Stephen is the son of
Bernard and Donna Strain of
Cumberland, Md.
Bridesmaids were Jodi Friedman,
sister-in-law of the bride; Stephanie
Ditner; Heather McClure-Coleman;
Julie Lieb; Victoria Mooradian and
Kim Collier, sister of the groom.
Groomsmen were Matt Friedman,
brother of the bride; Donnie and
Chuck Strain, brothers of the groom;
Don Collier, brother-in-law of the
groom; Bill Miller and Michael
Halloway.
The flower girl was Morgan
Collier, niece of the groom. Clayton
Strain and Bryce Collier, nephews of
the groom, were the ring bearers.
The bride and groom were honored

to have Dr. David and Rae Friedman,
grandparents of the bride, as well as
Gerald Strain, the groom's grandfa-
ther, in attendance.
The couple honeymooned in Bar
Harbor, Maine.
Steve is a geographic information
systems analyst for Orchard, Hiltz and
McCliment. Megan is a social worker
for Davenport University. They live in
Birmingham.
