He also works as administrator and as a teacher for the Sara Tugman Bais Chabad Torah Center in West Bloomfield. Rochel Wineberg teaches at the Lubavitch preschool, Ganeinu, also in West Bloomfield. Rabbi Wineberg describes Bais Menachem, with 80 students in grades kindergarten through 8, as "focusing pri- marily on skill-based learning, rather than just memory." The approach is "learning how to learn," making use not only of classic Jewish texts but workbooks (which Rabbi Wineberg himself has written) that enhance the learning experience. Half the day is spent in Jewish education, the other half of the day is for secular studies. Rabbi Wineberg especially appreciates the opportunity to work with Rabbi Meilech Silberberg at the Bais Chabad Torah Center. "Rabbi Silberberg is an amazing rabbi, a world-class scholar," he says.
