Penitent, With Roses:
fin HIU+ Mother Reflects

Penitent, With Roses is a beautifully writ-
ten series of essays by a middle-class,
heterosexual Jewish mother who was
diagnosed with AIDS when her son was 11 months old. This
book encompasses several years of her life, including the
birth of her son and her diagnosis, her attempt to notify a for-
mer lover of her condition and her experiences as an activist
and a hotline volunteer. The book continues with a series of
autobiographical sketches of her childhood and young
womanhood in the format of a letter to her small son. An
award-winning author of short stories, Paula Peterson is
involved in HIV/AIDS advocacy work and education and pre-
vention programs.

Speaking on:

The Letters of Jonathan
Iletanyahu, Commander of
the Entebbe Rescue Operation

Iddo and Benjamin Netanyahu have
composed the foreword and afterword
for this book, written by their late brother Jonathan. On July
4, 1976, at the age of 30, Lt. Col. Jonathan Netanyahu led the
rescue mission at Entebbe that freed 102 hostages from inter-
national terrorists. Only one life was lost from the Israeli rescue
team - that of Jonathan. Twenty-five years later, his brothers
have published his writings. This book will introduce you to a
man with an endearing love for his people and a desire to
secure its future.
