Brennan shares credit for "any real positive things that happen" with assistant coaches Brett Beattie, Mitch Mallin and Keely Jones. Jaffe hopes those "positive things" include a strong finish at the state tournament. The Raiders finished 11th last season, but she hopes to reach the top five this time. As for herself, she wants to improve on her performance from last year, when she reached the state quarterfinals at No. 1 singles.
