Shoah Visual History Foundation, will
speak at Temple Israel at 1 p.m. Sunday,
Oct. 21. She will
share her personal
story as a child sur-
vivor of the
Holocaust, as well as
others' stories and
information on how
the foundation is
working to insure the
preservation of the
Shoah.
Daisy Miller -
In 1994, after film-
ing "Schindler's List,"
Steven Spielberg established Survivors of
the Shoah Visual History Foundation
with the mission to videotape and pre-
serve the testimonies of Holocaust sur-
vivors and witnesses. Today, the Shoah
Foundation has collected 50,000 eye-
witness testimonies in 57 countries and
32 languages. It is committed to ensur-
ing the broad and effective educational
use of its archive worldwide.
The Holocaust claimed the lives of
1.5 million children.
