Sammie Moshenberg, director of
Washington operations for the
National Council of Jewish Women,
will speak in Detroit on "Hot Issues
In Washington."
Moshenberg will speak 7:30 p.m.
Monday, Oct. 22, at the NCJW
Greater Detroit Section, 26400 Lahser
Road, Suite 100, Southfield.
Moshenberg is active in national
coalitions on civil rights, work-family,
child care and First Amendment
issues. She is a member of the adviso-
ry board of the Women's Information
Network of Washington. She chaired
the First Tuesday Group, which con-
sists of the Washington representatives
of major American Jewish organiza-
tions.
The evening will begin with dessert
and coffee at 7 p.m. There is no
charge.
