Americans don't like their Hungarian
goulash served in this fashion ...
Perhaps these places don't realize that
meat isn't too plentiful in Hungary or
that different parts of the country have
other ways to prepare it.
Anyway, the goulash made by Rose
at Siegel's Deli is excellent.
Many will recall that garlic dressing
and dill dressing Rose used to have at
Irving's ... They're now at Siegel's,
along with her homemade apple
strudel, banana nut cake, marble cake
and brownies.
