SIMON GOLDMAN, 77, of Oak
Park, died Sept. 28. He was a member
of Congregation B'nai Moshe and pres-
ident of its men's club. He was one of a

group of congregants honored for over
40 years of service to B'nai Moshe.
Mr. Goldman is survived by his wife,
Ilona Goldman; nieces; cousins. He was
the loving father of the late Michael
Goldman.

LILLY KERN, 79, of Southfield, died
Sept. 27. She was a resource teacher at
Redford High School, a member of the
Institute for Retired Professionals at the
Jewish Community Center, Women's
American ORT and Hadassah.
Mrs. Kern is survived by her son,
Michael Kern of Florida; daughter,
Sheila Kern of California. She was the
beloved wife of the late Sidney Kern.

ESTHER KRUGEL, 83, former
Detroiter of Woodland Hills, Calif,
died July 17.
She is survived by her sons, Barry and
Earl Krugel; daughter, Linda Spilky;
grandchildren, Michael Spilky, Lisa and
Dalah Krugel. She was the beloved wife
for 50 years of the late Murray Krugel.
Services were held at Ain Israel
Mortuary in San Diego.

EDITH LIEBERMAN, 92, of
Rockville, Md., formerly of Detroit,
died Sept. 24. She was an executive sec-
retary for the Michigan Stare Fair.
Mrs. Lieberman is survived by her
sons and daughters-in-law, Dr. Franklin
and Dale Lieberman of California, Dr.
Ronald and Cynthia Lieberman of
Maryland; daughter and son-in-law,
Beverly A. Lieberman Rowell and
Roger Lowell of Connecticut; grand-
children, Lori Rogers, Geoffrey
Lieberman, Cheryl Lieberman, Danny
Lieberman; great-grandchildren,
Nicholas and Alexander Rogers. Mrs.
Lieberman was the beloved wife of the
late Raymond Lieberman.
Interment at Machpelah Cemetery
