Scottsdale, Ariz., announce the
engagement of their daughter
Lauren Ilene to Dr. Steven
Eric Finkelstein, son of Mrs.
Eileen Finkelstein and Mr.
Howard Finkelstein of New
York.
Lauren will complete her
bachelor of fine arts degree in
art education this December at
Arizona State University in
Tempe, Ariz.
Dr. Finkelstein completed
medical school at the
University of Michigan. He is
at the surgery branch,
National Cancer Institute,
National Institutes of Health
in Bethesda, Md., where the couple
plan to reside.
A February wedding in Scottsdale,
Ariz., is planned.

tacy Gastwirth and
Jason Trager were
recently married by
Rabbi Daniel Nevins at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. Cantor
Howard Glantz also officiated.
Stacy is the daughter of
Cheryl and Craig Gastwirth of
West Bloomfield. Jason is the
son of Lea Trager of Waterford
and Allen Trager of Flint.
Stacy and Jason met as
camp counselors at Tamarack
Camps and became engaged
on the turn of the millennium
while on the Birthright Israel
trip. Both graduated from
Michigan State University.
Jason is in his fourth year at
Michigan State University's
School of Osteopathic
Medicine.
The couple reside in Grand
Blanc.

University. Josh is
progressing on his doctorate in learn-
ing, technology and culture at
Michigan State University.
Josh and Debbie share a love for
children, sports, Dr. Seuss, the Beatles'
"Yellow Submarine," and a resounding
love for each other.
A June 2003 wedding is planned.

brated their 60th wed-
ding anniversary Aug.
31. Their children gave
them a party over Labor
Day weekend. Sharing in
the simcha were their
children, grandchildren,
sister, brother-in-law,
nieces, nephews and
many wonderful friends.
They also celebrated
Pearl's 80th birthday,
which was Aug. 22.
