Serving Communities) program
and plan the annual Senior
Getaway Weekend at the Milan
Conference Centre.
She earned a bachelor's degree in
psychology at the University of
Michigan and most recently
worked as a long-term substitute
teacher for Southfield Public
Schools.
Gales is a past member of Ahavah
BBG and was also active in United
Synagogue Youth.

Auditions For
Young Artists

Temple Beth El will host a Young
Artist Concert Series highlighting
young Jewish musical talent from
the metropolitan Detroit area.
The series, open to the commu-
nity at large, is being coordinated
by the Music and Cultural Arts
Committee of the temple.
The concerts will be held Sunday
afternoons on Jan. 20 and
Feb. 10, from 3-5 p.m.
Applicants should be serious music
students with plans to pursue a
career in music performance. They
should be in the process of prepar-
ing for auditions for college, music
conservatories and/or graduate pro-
grams.
Auditions will be held Sunday,
Nov. 18, between noon and 3 p.m.
