Sponsored by the Jewish Federation and Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan Detroit, the event will memorialize victims of the recent terrorist attacks, and show solidarity for the 9/28 2001 16 U.S. government, organizers said. The program will include a video message of support from Israel and prayers for the United States and Israel. Sen. Debbie Stabenow, D-Mich., is scheduled to be among the guest speakers. At press time, names of other speakers were unavailable. Larry Jackier, Federation presi- dent, said it is important for the Jewish people to rally together in a large forum.
