JEROME KARNOW, 80, of

Southfield, died Sept. 21. He was the
owner of Cue Stick, shoes stores and a
jewelry concession store inside Spartan
Atlantic Department Store.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley
Karnow; son and daughter-in-law, Roger
and Michelle Karnow of Farmington
Hills; daughters and sons-in-law, Marsha
and David Dziuban of California, Karen
and Tony Stuart of California; grand-
children, Douglas Dziuban, Pamela and
James Williams, Benjamin Stuart,
Shayna Stuart, Antony Karnow, Rachel
Stack; great-grandchildren, Sabian
Storm. Mr. Karnow was the loving
father of the late Beverly Karnow.
Interment at Adat Shalom Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to the
American Heart Association.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

CATHERINE KERSHENBAUM, 78,
of Pompano Beach, Fla., formerly of
Detroit, died Sept. 19. She was a mem-
ber of Hadassah, Women's American
ORT and the City of Hope.
She is survived by her daughters and
sons-in-law, Lauren Rudner of North
Carolina, Linda and Eric Reinking of
Indiana, Melissa and David Goldman of
West Bloomfield; grandchildren, Joshua
Rudner, Elizabeth Rudner, Alexander
Reinking and Rachel Goldman; brother,
Louis Weiss. Mrs. Kershenbaum was the
beloved wife of the late Meyer
Kerschenbaum; dear sister of the late
Alexander Weiss.
Interment at Star of David Cemetery
in Florida. Contributions may be made
to the American Cancer Society.
Arrangements by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

SIDNEY MARGOLIS, 75, of Walled

Lake, died Sept. 24. He was a sporting
goods and electronics manufacturers rep-
resentative.
Mr. Margolis is survived by his wife,
Joyce Margolis; daughters and son-in-
law, Barbara and Dr. Norman Kline of
Coral Springs, Fla., Lauren Weitz of
Farmington Hills; son, Brian Margolis of
Canton; grandchildren, Bradley, Margo
and Andrew Kline; brother and sister-in-
law, Morton and Marilyn Margolis of
Northville; sister and brother-in-law,
Pauline and Louis Buch of California.
Interment at Beth El Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Hospice
of Michigan. Arrangements by Ira
Kaufman Chapel.

HELEN PIKSTEIN, 79, of Oak Park,
died Sept. 20.
She is survived by her sons and
daughters-in-law, Martin and Laura
