Yeshivat Akiva is deeply saddened by the passing of our dear
friend

Abe's counsel and leadership guided us for so many years,
and his humor brightened all of our lives. He always inspired
us to do more for our community, to do more for each other,
and to keep smiling. He will be sorely missed.

Akiva extends its deepest condolences to his dear wife, Myra;
to his sisters Sara and Drora and their families; to his
children, Steven, Gail, Stephanie, Joey and their families; and
to the family of Michael, of blessed memory.

a man who loved his family, his community, and his G-d with unequaled
passion. Abe will forever be a model of Ahavat Torah, Ahavat Yisrael,
and Ahavat Eretz Yisrael to all those whose lives he has touched. We will
all miss the loving warmth of his beautiful smile.
May the merit of the joy he brought to all those who were fortunate to
know and love him, serve as a comfort to his family amongst the mourners
of Tzion and Yerushalayim
