called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Saturday, Sept.
22, at Temple Beth
El. She is the daugh-
ter of Marla and
Mark Canvasser, sis-
ter of Amanda and
Elizabeth and grand-
daughter of Anna
and Larry Nedelman
and Beverly and
Robert Canvasser.
Lindsay is an eighth-grade honor
student at Orchard Lake Middle
School in West Bloomfield. She
enjoys playing the piano, tennis, snow
skiing and spending summers at
Tamarack Camps. Her mitzvah proj-
ects include bowling with residents at
Fleischman Residence in West
Bloomfield and working with young
children at Temple Beth El day camp.
She is happy to be sharing her bat
mitzvah with her twin sister Amanda.
Jaynee Elizabeth Golden will be
called to the Torah as a bat mitzvah
on Friday, Sept. 21, at Temple Israel.
She is the daughter
of Susan Golden and
Randal Golden and
sister of Jaclyn arid
Jenna. Excited
grandparents are Dr.
Donald Golden and
Terry Shamie. She is
also the grandchild
of the late Norma
Golden and the late Jack Shamie.
A West Bloomfield Abbott Middle
School honor student, Jaynee enjoys
dancing, waterskiing, swimming, the
arts, traveling and attending Camp
Tamalcva in Algonquin Park, Canada.
Among her mitzvah projects, she vol-
unteered at a shelter for abused and
battered women and children and
donated earnings from babysitting to
hospice care.
Joshua Michael Kroll,will become a
bar mitzvah during Havdalah services
at Temple Israel on
Saturday, Sept. 22.
He is the son of
Helene and Ronald
Kroll and brother of
Samantha and Jacob.

An honor student at Orchard Lake
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
Joshua likes hockey and football,
enjoys all types of music and playing
the guitar. His most meaningful mitz-
vah project was volunteering at a
nursing home.
Lindsay Michelle Peisner will cele-
brate her bat mitzvah at Temple Israel
on Saturday, Sept. 22. She is the
daughter of Cheryl
and Jonathan

Ryan and Seth.

Attending Abbott Middle School
in West Bloomfield, where she is an
honor student, Lindsay likes to dance,
sing, read and play basketball. She
found it particularly significant, as
part of her mitzvah projects, to volun-
teer when Temple Israel housed the
homeless.

a bar mitzvah on
Saturday, Sept. 22, at
Temple Israel. He is
the son of Lana and
Lev Turin and grand-
child of Bela and
Semyon Gurevich and Iosif Turin.
