HYMAN "HY" COHEN, 83, of
West Bloomfield, died Sept. 16.
He is survived by his beloved wife,
Gloria Cohen of West Bloomfield;
sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and
Sherry Cohen of West Bloomfield,
Gary and Marcia Cohen of Sylvan
Lake, Steven Cohen of West
Bloomfield, Ronald and Jackie Cohen
of Hungry Horse, Mont.; grandchil-
dren, Eden (Andrew) Floyd, Shauna
(Mark) Kocsis, Robyn (Kirk) Gold,
Brett Cohen; great-grandchildren,
Austin, Savanna, Blake, Lexy and
Alexander.
Interment at the Clover Hill Park
Cemetery. Contributions may be
made to a charity for the cure of lung
disease. Arrangements by the
Dorfman Chapel.

EDWARD ERSHER, 65, of
Farmington Hills, died Sept. 14. He
was self-employed in the industrial
equipment sales industry.
Mr. Ersher is survived by his wife,
Beverly Ersher; son and daughter-in-
law, Eric and Amy Ersher of Sylvan
Lake; daughter and son-in-law,
Michelle and Richard Gordon of
Bloomfield Hills; grandchildren,
Rachel Gordon, Adam Gordon and
Mia Ersher; sisters and brother-in-law,
Judy and Marvin Weinstein, Susan
Ersher; brother and sister-in-law,
Mitchell and Ronna Ersher and sister-
in-law, Wendy Weitzman. He was the
dear brother-in-law of the late
Marlene and the late Hanley Elias,
dear son of the late Sidney and the
late Freda Ersher, dear son-in-law of
the late Ben and the late Sylvia
Weitzman.
Interment at Beth El Memorial
Park. Contributions may be made to
Hospice of Michigan. Arrangements
by Ira Kaufman Chapel.

BETTY FIELDS, of Beverly Hills
Calif, formerly of Detroit, died Aug.
23.
She is survived by her children,
Jacqueline Fields of Sacramento,
William Fields of Honolulu, Susan
(Steve) Adler of New Hampshire; 12
grandchildren; one great-grandchild;
dear sister, Gertrude Gilbert of
Southfield. Mrs. Fields was the wife
of the late Leo Fields; loving mother
of the late Bernard Fields; sister of the
late Irving Gilbert.
