DE GRE E PROGRAM IN JUDAIC STUDIE S A comprehensive interdisciplinary course of graduate study for students who seek a deeper knowledge of Jewish culture, history, arts and letters, offering areas of study in: • comparative Jewish literatures (Hebrew, Yiddish, Germanic, Slavic, and Anglo-American); • contemporary Jewish affairs, especially in the United States, Israel, the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe; • Hebrew and Yiddish languages, literatures and cultures; • rabbinics and Jewish thought; and • Jewish history.
