Gross, a sophomore at Indiana
University in Bloomington, says she
and friends went to Hillel services and
fasted together. To break the fast, she
says, "about 10 of us gathered in the
dorm and ordered pizza."

"The first time I didn't go home, it
was different," says Dyme, who grad-
uated from the University of
Michigan this year. "But I also
enjoyed the new experience of cele-
brating at school and I look forward
to it again this year."
Not all students are as pleased as
Dyme and Gross by the changes to
