Richard Broder of West Bloomfield
was elected to the board of trustees of
the American Red Cross Southeastern
Michigan Chapter. He joins his
father, Brewster Broder, also of West
Bloomfield,
who's been a
life member of
the chapter's
board of direc-
tors for 28

years.

As president
of Broder and
Sachse Real
Estate, Richard
served on the
Brewster and
Red Cross
Richard
Broder
chapter's build-
ing committee.
That led to his nomination to the
board of trustees and his being elect-
ed in June.
He also serves on the board of
directors of the Hebrew Free Loan
Association of Metropolitan Detroit.
When asked to sit on the Red
Cross chapter's board of directors
back in 1973, Brewster Broder was

the USO, the Jewish Community
Center, the Traveler's Aid Society and
