The Southeast Michigan Coalition on the Environment and
Jewish Life (SEMCOEJL) seeks a Program Coordinator for a
multifaceted organization linking the Jewish community to
environmental issues. The primary duties of this part-time
position include leadership and coordination of SEMCOEJL's
Global Climate Change campaign and other advocacy cam-
paigns, recruitment and development of volunteers, and
grant writing and administration. Other responsibilities
include support for the organization's volunteer board, pro-
gram planning, internal communication and administration,
and outreach to diverse institutions within the Jewish and
environmental communities.
