NEW NAME OF the restaurant
opening at the former Ristorante Di
Modesta site in the Market Street
Shoppes on Northwestern Highway,
between 12 and 13 Mile Roads, will
be Bacco
It'll be owned by
Luciano and Monica Del Signore.
Bacco is expected to be open this
October ... with the former Modesta
now undergoing an all-new cosmetic
and design look for the authentic
preparation and presentation, as in
Italy, that will be featured.
Luciano's fine Fonte De Amore
will remain on Plymouth Road in
Livonia.
HAVE YOU NOTICED how
many more waitpersons at restau-
rants are reaching across the table to
serve or take away? ... They are
either too lazy to walk around the
table ... or just don't know any bet-
ter ... Today's lack of good waitper-
sons is no excuse ... The offenders
should be told by management not
to do this unless maybe servicing
customers at a booth.
