Bar/Bat Mitzvah

Dorothy and Albert Mazer.
Bethany is an honor student at
Warner Middle School in
Farmington Hills and plays the flute
in the school band. She loves to
dance and has participated in award-
winning tap and jazz competition
groups. Bethany enjoys floor hockey,
reading and spending summers at
Tamarack Camps.

Bradley Aaron Krasnick will be
called to the Torah as a bar mitzvah
at Congregation
Shaarey Zedek on
Saturday, Sept. 1.
He is the oldest son
of Sarah and Neal
Krasnick and big
brother of Brian
and Nathan
Krasnick. Proud
grandparents are
Valerie and Samuel Indenbaum of
Franklin and Marjorie and William
Krasnick of Huntington Woods.
Brad is an honor student at
Berkshire Middle School in
Birmingham and will be entering
the eighth grade in the fall. His
hobbies include tennis, soccer,
watching all sports and robotics.

Carolyn Jennifer Sallen will become
a bat mitzvah at Temple Israel on
Saturday, Sept. 1.
She is the daughter
of Rosellen and
Steven Sallen and
sister of Robert and
Lauren and the
grandchild of
Arline Sallen. She is
also the grand-
daughter. of the late
Robert Sallen and
the late Josephine and Edward
Russell.
An honor student at Abbott
Middle School in West Bloomfield,
Carolyn enjoys softball, water ski-
ing, music and attending camp in
Ontario. Her most meaningful mitz-
vah projects involved volunteering
with Temple Israel's Caring
Community.
