Meet
The Slabotskys

Both Larry and Susan came from out-of-town. They met in the MBA
program at the University of Michigan in '82, and the rest is
history...fortunately OUR history as well. Members of Adat Shalom
for nine years, they credit the congregation with helping them find
their place in the Detroit Jewish Community and making Detroit
their home.

Larry is a member of the Synagogue Board of Trustees and
co-chairs the Adat Shalom Synagogue 2000 Team. Susan is an active
fundraiser for Hillel Day School, where Zack, 13, and Arlene, 10, are
students. Zack, a basketball enthusiast, recently celebrated his Bar
Mitzvah at Adat Shalom. Four-year-old Annie attends Adat Shalom
Nursery School and, like big sister Arielle, enjoys dance and music.

The whole family likes to travel, but they admit that there's no place like home - home in Detroit and home at Adat Shalom.
