Persian and object to being called
Arabs, and their persecution of the
Jewish remnant in Iran is not a bor-
der dispute.
Not every Arab is a Palestinian
militant or their supporter. Arab
hostility toward Israel correlates
with their Islamic fervor better than
any other factor.
Unlike Judaism or Christianity,
Islam does not love its neighbors.
Mohammed's Koran prescribes
jiziah, a punishing tax on non-
Muslims, and execution for failure
to pay or for the open practice of
other religions. He tells his followers
that they are the Army of Allah
(Hezballah); abrogates all pledges to
infidels who reject Islam; calls for
the slaughter of infidel nations and
guarantees a free pass to heaven for
Muslims who die in a jihad (holy
war).
Mohammed's Koran differs from
Hitler's Mein Kampf mainly in that
its murderous megalomania is
founded on religion instead of race.
Both rail most insidiously against
Jews.
The illusion of a Palestinian
nation seeking freedom is sheep's
clothing on an Islamic wolf seeking
a beachhead for a jihad. Christian
Arabs, Islam's next target, over-
whelmingly support peace at least as
a diversion. Peace with people who
believe they were ordered by a god
to convert the world to Islam or die
trying is a fantasy. Peace with Egypt
and Jordan succeeds only because
their more secular and worldly lead-
ers have the power and the will to
corral and control the fanatics;
peace for Israel demands a similarly
minded successor for Palestinian
Authority leader Yasser Arafat.
