JAMIE ROSEN College Intern T he seventh annual Woodward Dream Cruise, which cele- brates memories of cruising Woodward Avenue with scads of vintage cars and music of the era, will take place Saturday, Aug. 18, from 9 a.m.- 9 p.m. In addition, many cities are planning events for Friday, Aug. 17. Along the 16-mile route, 30,000 classic vehicles are expected to cruise during the world's largest one-day celebra- tion of car culture. In honor of the cruise, the Jewish News surveyed members of the community about memories of their first car. , The Woodward Dream Cruise takes place Saturday from 9 a.m-9 p.m., along Woodward Avenue between Ferndale and Pontiac. Various events will occur throughout the day and evening in Pontiac, Birmingham, Royal Oak, Berkley, Huntington Woods, Pleasant Ridge and Ferndale.
