Commurt Adat Shalom Marks Holidays Torah Center Hosts Rabbi Cantors Perform At JWI Night Memorial Service At Clover Hill The Adat Shalom Synagogue Sisterhood will launch the fall enter- tainment season with "Hiddur Mitzvah — Celebrating the Holidays in Style," a two-day event beginning Monday, Aug. 27. Monday's patron evening and pre- view party is titled "Orchestrating the Holidays with Culinary and Musical delights." A performance by Cantor Howard Glantz and a cook- ing demonstration by Annabel Cohen will accompany the opening of the holiday table exhibition. There will be a wine and dessert reception. On Aug. 28, participants will hear presentations by Lynn Scheele Nevins on "Holiday Family Rituals," author Norene Gilletz on quick and easy cooking, Nancy Zide of Nancy's Linens on creative table settings, Fiona Palmer of Fiona's Tea House on the art of serving tea and crafter Sharon Bass on "Decorating with Leaf Painting." A continental breakfast, light lunch and boutique shopping is included. There is a $40 charge to attend the all-day Aug. 28 event and a $5 charge to view the table exhibitions only.
