JPI Begins
53rd Year
The Jewish Parents Institute is accept-
ing registration for the 2001-2002
school year. Founded in 1948, JPI has
offered a cultural/historical approach
to Judaism for the past 52 years.
Housed at the Jewish Community
Center in West Bloomfield, JPI offers
an educational opportunity for chil-
dren in nursery through seventh
grade. JPI also has a bar/bat mitzvah
program that culminates in a rite-of-
passage ceremony shared by the stu-
dents, families and guests.
An informational meeting will be
held 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, to
help new members become better
acquainted with the program. For
reservations and information, call the
JPI office, (248) 432-5472.
