Jewish Program
Grants Available

Jewish cultural and educational
start-up programs and new programs
serving the needs of vulnerable pop-
ulations may be eligible for grants
from the Jewish Federation of
Metropolitan Detroit's Max M.
Fisher Jewish Community
Foundation.
Interested organizations must
submit a letter of intent to the
Federation by Friday, Sept. 7.
If the Fisher Foundation deems a
grant request appropriate for consid-
eration, the full proposal will be due
by Oct. 5. Letter of intent forms
and guidelines for the Fisher
Foundation are available in
Federation's Planning Department.
While Federation s Annual
Campaign meets essential, ongoing
budgetary needs, the Fisher
Foundation provides resources for
demonstration grants. Funding
comes from the annual grant allocat-
ed to Federation from the United
Jewish Foundation.
For information or to request
grant guidelines, call Marion
Freedman, (248) 203-1467.
