He served in the Army Air Force as a master sergeant in World War II. Mr. Greene attended Wayne State University, graduating as a mechanical engineer in 1950. He was employed as an engineer with Michigan Consolidated Gas and retired after 29 years of service. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge and American Legion in Dearborn Heights and was affiliated with Temple Beth El. In Florida, he resided at Five Towns and served as treasurer for the Exeter Building for 11 years and for many years on the board of direc- tors. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty (Bessie) Greene; loving daughter-in-law, Georgia of St. Petersburg; brother and sister-in- law, Nathan and Shirley Greenberg of Detroit; in-laws, Vern and Goldie Lieberman of Alberqueue, N.M., Ann Fink of Georgia, Sonia Laksberger of Southfield, Carl and Freda Grossman of West Bloomfield.
