At the recent biennial convention of
the Federation of Jewish Men's
Clubs (FJMC) in Toronto, Dr.
Harvey Nussbaum of West
Bloomfield received a Mdasim Tovim
(Doer of Good
deeds) award for
his service to
FJMC, the Great
Lakes region, his
men's club and
the Jewish corn-
munity.
Nussbaum is a
past president of
the Great Lakes
Region of FJMC
Dr. Nussbaum
and the Adat
Shalom Men's
Club. He served as international vice
president and member of the
FJMC's executive committee. He led
the FJMC's Yom HaShoah Yellow
Candle Program.
Attending the convention from
the Detroit area were David Goldis
of Adat Shalom and current presi-
dent of the Great Lakes Region;
Harold Baker of Adat Shalom;
Richard Racusin of Beth Shalom;
Kerry Greenhut of B'nai Moshe;
Michael Balkin, member of the
FJMC Executive Committee; and
Steven Korn of Shaarey Zedek.
