annual Night on the Town Event spon-
sored by Jewish Women International of
Metro Detroit along with co-chairs
Ruthe Goldstein and
Barbara Coden.
The event, set for
Wednesday, Sept. 5, at
Congregation Shaarey
Zedek, is open to the
community and offers
boutique shopping and
dinner. The highlight
of the evening will be a
Robin Lash
performance by the
"Three Cantors:
Cantors Stephen
Dubow, Lori Corsin
and Howard Glantz."
Lash, a member of
Metro Detroit's JWI
steering committee,
chaired last year's
Night on the Town
and is on the faculty of
Ruthe
Hillel Day School of
Goldstein
Metropolitan Detroit
in Farmington Hills.

Triathlon for Hope, originally scheduled
for Sunday, Aug. 5, has been postponed.
Hosted by the Jewish Community
Center of Metropolitan Detroit, the
event will raise money for breast cancer
research and treatment at the City of
Hope National Medical Center and
Beckman Research Institute, when it is
rescheduled.
